The Country Harvest seemed to be about kids and tractor pulling this year.
The two themes came together in the pedal tractor pull.
Behind the tractor you can see the sled. As the tractor pulls it along a weight on the sled gradually moves forward, making the sled more difficult to pull.
Some children made it look easy; others threw everything they had into the effort.
I'm guessing the gentleman lying on the grass with the camera is Dad.
And that's probably mum helping steer the tractor back to the starting line.
Other attractions included working displays, like Andrew Scott's antique engines, right, and the Sawyer Massey steam engine, below.

In venues such as the Blacksmith Shop, skills of an earlier era were practiced.
Mechanical and driving skills got a workout in the Slow Race. There seems to be a lot of green in this particular heat.
The winner of the Slow Race - Sandra Rennie on her 1957 International Wheatland tractor. Second place went to Ellis Kumpula on his John Deere 530 (the middle tractor above, I believe) and Don Lund and his Oliver 550 were third.
Ray Cordell (left) brought one of his beautifully detailed working model tractors and delighted the children by letting them drive it around the lawn.
Ray makes sure everyone gets a turn, even the shy ones.

Future antique tractor fans and club members grow out of experiences such as these ... |
... and graduate, with experience, to the real thing. Here's Kyle Widdifield, a lad who's been involved with old iron for years, despite his young age.
